It was an honor to work alongside legendary Iranian cinematographer Hossein Jafarian and his professional team on the set of Duet.

Born in Tehran in 1944, Jafarian began his career in television before moving into feature films. He has photographed more than 50 films as well as documentaries and television productions, among them Narges, Through the Olive Trees, Crimson Gold, About Elly and The Salesman.
He has worked with Abbas Kiarostami, Jafar Panahi, Rakhshan Bani-Etemad and Asghar Farhadi.
The film
Duet was directed by Navid Danesh, with Jafarian as director of photography. It stars Ali Mosaffa, Hedieh Tehrani, Negar Javaherian and Morteza Farshbaf.
Being on set and documenting the work of such an experienced cinematographer was a valuable experience for me. These footages are memories from that time.
More backstage work, including two films from the set of Houman Seyedi's Sheeple, is on the videos page. Taravati's full film credits are listed in her CV.
